The trademark MOCO means: Optimum adaptation of shredding to the respective materials. The individual handling of all shredding tasks made the name MOCO synonymous with quality and sound investment.

As the developer of the first four-shaft granulating machine, MOCO has been particularly successful in scrap tyre recycling. This makes sure that a preliminary separation of steel, rubber and textiles is possible even before fine shredding.

Shredding technology from MOCO is also at home on the oceans. Research vessels, large ferries or cruise ships are often days or weeks away from any port. A wide variety of waste materials are therefore sorted, shredded and compressed on board and recycled later ashore.

How we process your order at MOCO

Step 1
Preliminary discussion and planning
After a customer has approached MOCO with a first idea, we jointly define the process parameters, material, its volume and determine the final particle size. We also clarify where the material to be shredded comes from and what happens to the shredded product afterwards. Examples could include the integral part of your production process, recycling of production waste, optimising the waste stream as well as pressing or briquetting.
Step 2
Feasibility study
In our test centre, we can try out various options in a first preliminary test. MOCO has extensive knowledge of materials, the shredding of a variety of materials and selecting a suitable shredding technology. Because no two materials react alike.
Step 3
Concept and budget
We will discuss the design concept of the shredding machine and the associated costs with the customer considering the previously defined parameters.
Step 4
Trial in the MOCO test centre
Using original materials from the customer, the shredding is simulated in MOCO’s test centre to eliminate any potential risks. The system capacity and the technical requirements can be determined at the same time.
Step 5
Coordination of requirement specification and functional specification
We discuss the customer’s requirements and how we will meet them. Special requests such as feed and discharge equipment, individual designs due to conditions at the customer’s site, special materials and controls are documented if necessary.
Step 6
Implementation
After preparing a drawing in 3D and coordination with the customer, we start manufacturing the shredding machine. Our highly qualified employees use only modern construction methods and high-quality materials for the manufacture. The training of operators and maintenance personnel follows the final installation and commissioning at your site.
Step 7
On-site maintenance and service
If you have any questions or need help, we will be happy to visit you on site. MOCO supplies spare parts throughout the service life of the machine and offers online ordering. Because we are your partner for shredding.
